Sangwin were involved in Hull City Council’s annual Global Entrepreneurship Week in November 2013.

Working with the team at the council, Sangwin set up a challenge for all students from a number of schools to design a piece of furniture that would be marketable and fit for purpose in a school. The winning team was Newland School for Girls and following their success they were invited to visit Sangwin’s factory to see their design go into manufacture. The design was an innovative mobile computer table with storage facilities for books, ipads and equipment
