We are currently looking to appoint a Maintenance Mechanic to join our established maintenance team.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager you will be:
A forward thinker with a “can do” attitude.
An excellent time- keeper and be able to work efficiently.
Able to join and integrate into an established team, additionally be able to work under your own initiative.
Have a good understanding of health and safety practices and be able to work to them accordingly.
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to liaise with personnel on all levels such as colleuges and customers.
Be able to work overtime and weekends as and when required to suit the needs of the business.
You will be responsible for maintenance and repair of: Plant, LGV/ HGV and mobile cranes in the workshop and out on customer sites. You will complete job reports and maintenance logs upon completion. Along with other workshop expected roles such as, but not limited to, housekeeping and yard duties.
The successful candidate will have the following preferred profile:
Trained to NVQ L3 or equivalent in Plant maintenance and repair/ HGV mechanic
Experience: 2 Years Plant fitting (preferred) or 3years + HGV mechanic
Hydraulic Experience preferred.
Electrical systems experience required.
Driving Licence required/ cat C licence preferred but not essential.
